Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

This website, print3dcell.com, is operated by Tiago Silva / Print3dCell, tax number (NIF) 245608842, based at Pombal, Leiria, Portugal (“Print3dCell”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@print3dcell.com.

By placing an order or requesting a quote on this website you (“the customer”) agree to these terms. Please read them before you order. If you do not agree, please do not use the shop.

2. What we sell

We sell 3D-printed replacement and upgrade parts for cars (the “Shop”) and offer custom 3D printing and design services (the “Services”). Every part is printed to order, in Portugal, in the material and colour described on its product page.

3. Products, fitment and tolerances

  • Our parts are made for the vehicle model, years and variants named on the product page. It is your responsibility to check that the part suits your exact vehicle before ordering. If you are unsure, message us first and we will help you check.
  • 3D printing is a layered process. Small variations in dimensions, surface texture, layer lines and colour from the photos are normal and are not defects.
  • Photos are illustrative. Colour can look different on different screens.
  • Our parts are mainly cosmetic and convenience parts. Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, they are not designed or approved for safety-critical use (for example brakes, steering, airbags, seat belts or structural parts). Plastic parts can also be affected by prolonged heat, sunlight and chemicals. Please choose the material with the use in mind and ask us if you are not sure.
  • Parts are not original manufacturer parts and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any car manufacturer. Vehicle brand and model names are used only to show compatibility.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT at the legal rate. We issue an invoice with your NIF on request at checkout.
  • Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
  • We can change prices at any time, but the price you see when you place your order is the price you pay.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order through our secure payment provider(s) (for example card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or other methods shown at checkout). We do not store your card details.
  • If we made an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. How an order is accepted

By clicking the final order button at checkout you confirm that you are placing an order with an obligation to pay. You will receive an automatic email (a durable medium) confirming we received it. This is not yet our acceptance. The contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted or when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item cannot be made as described, in which case you will be refunded in full.

6. Production and delivery

  • Items are printed after you order. Production usually takes 1 to 3 working days, followed by delivery. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed dates.
  • We ship from Portugal to the rest of the EU VAT area using CTT and their partners, depending on the destination country. Shipping costs depend on destination and size.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or a person you named receives the goods.
  • Please check the parcel on delivery. If it arrives damaged, take photos and contact us within 7 days so we can sort it out with the carrier.
  • If the carrier tries to deliver and fails, or the address is wrong, extra delivery costs may be charged to you.
  • Customs duties and import taxes outside the EU, if any, are the customer’s responsibility.

7. Right to cancel (14-day withdrawal)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason (Decree-Law 24/2014).

Important exception: this right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This includes custom parts, custom designs, modified files, and any item produced from your quote or measurements. Standard catalogue items printed to order are treated as made on demand; where the law does not allow us to exclude withdrawal for them, you keep the right to withdraw.

To withdraw, tell us clearly by email at info@print3dcell.com within the 14 days (you may use the model form at the end of these terms). Then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us. Items must be unused and in their original condition. You pay the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or not as described. We refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method you used. We may reduce the refund if the goods have lost value because of handling beyond what is needed to check them.

8. Faulty or non-conforming goods (legal guarantee)

You are protected by the legal guarantee of conformity under Portuguese and EU consumer law (Decree-Law 84/2021). If an item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced, and if that is not possible or not done in reasonable time, to a price reduction or refund. For new goods the legal guarantee period is 3 years from delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If a defect appears within 2 years of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we show otherwise or this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect. You can request your remedy at any time within the guarantee period, and you do not need to report the defect within a fixed deadline, but we ask you to contact us as soon as you notice it.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear, damage from incorrect installation or misuse, use in conditions the material is not suited for (for example extreme heat), or modifications made by you or someone else.

If something is wrong, email info@print3dcell.com with your order number and photos. We will reply as quickly as we can.

9. Custom 3D printing and quotes

  • A quote request is not an order. A quote is valid for 7 days from the date we send it, and the work starts when you accept it in writing and, if we ask for it, pay the deposit or full price.
  • Custom work is made specifically for you, so it cannot be cancelled or returned after production has started, except if it is faulty or not as agreed.
  • You are responsible for the files, drawings and measurements you provide. Please make sure you own them or have the right to use them. We cannot print designs that infringe someone else’s rights.
  • Final dimensions, colour and finish may vary slightly from the model, as explained in section 3. We will tell you about material and design limitations we notice before we start.
  • We keep the right to refuse any job that is unsafe, illegal or that we cannot make to a good standard, including weapons or parts of weapons.
  • Unless agreed otherwise, we do not assume responsibility for how custom parts are used or fitted.

10. Intellectual property

The designs, photos, text, logo and layout of this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without our written permission. When you send us your own design for printing, it remains yours. We will not use it for other customers or publish it without your permission, but we may photograph the finished part for our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

11. Your account

If you create an account, keep your password private and your details up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that are used abusively or fraudulently. Our use of your personal data is explained in our Privacy and cookies policy.

12. Reviews and messages

Customer reviews must be honest and respectful. We may remove reviews that are abusive, unlawful or not related to the product.

13. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or the cost of fitting a part, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example strikes, carrier problems, power or internet outages, severe weather).

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

  • You can complain directly to us at info@print3dcell.com. We will try to resolve it quickly.
  • In Portugal you can also use the official Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações).
  • In case of a consumer dispute, you may use an approved out-of-court consumer dispute resolution entity (Law 144/2015). The list of approved entities, and the one competent for your area, is available on the Consumer Portal. Print3dCell is not obliged to, and has not committed to, submit to out-of-court consumer dispute resolution procedures. More information is on our Alternative consumer dispute resolution page.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country. The Portuguese courts are competent to resolve disputes, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
